Nano Emulsification
Also known as “Nano” or “Rapid Onset,” these terms specifically refer to edible cannabis products that have gone through the chemical process of Nano Emulsification, resulting in the effects being felt much faster than traditional edibles. THC is a fat-soluble chemical and normally does not break down in water: it needs to be processed through the liver for the effects to be felt, which is why many people don’t feel the “high” of an edible until a few hours after consumption. But the process of Nano Emulsification breaks down THC chemicals to a microscopic level, allowing them to be suspended in an emulsion – basically tricking the THC particles into acting like water-soluble cannabinoids.
