It’s summertime in Maine!!

With our favorite season comes free outdoor music just about every night of the week from June through the end of August. Here are a few of the places we like to roll up to with a chair and a snack to enjoy some tunes.

Summer Sunsets Live!

Thompson’s Point, Portland | Thursdays & Fridays | doors @ 4pm

Music, food trucks, sunset views, libations, this summer event series at Thompson’s Point has it all. Free entry with food & beverages available for purchase. Starts Thursday, June 15!

 

Sounds by the Sea

Fort Williams Park, Cape Elizabeth | Mondays | music @ 6pm

Ocean view? Check. Badass lighthouse? Check. Free Music? Bonus! Swing down to Fort Williams Park on Mondays from July 10 through August 14 for live music courtesy of Cape Elizabeth Community Services. Consider bringing a donation for the South Portland-Cape Elizabeth Rotary who will be conducting a Food Drive during each show to benefit local food pantries.

 

Music on the Mall Summer Concert Series

Park Row, Brunswick | Wednesdays | music @ 6pm

Bring your blanket and a picnic to the tree-lined mall in Brunswick and enjoy live music from their historic gazebo. The series runs every Wednesday from June 28 through August 30 with new performers each week. Be sure to get there early for the popular Maine State Music Theatre evening on August 23!

 

Downtown Bath Summer Concerts

Waterfront Park, Bath | Saturdays | music @ 5pm

Visit the City of Ships and along the banks of the Kennebec river in historic downtown Bath you’ll find national and regional acts performing free shows on Saturday evenings in July & August. An excellent way to cap off a day at nearby Popham Beach State Park. 

 

Auburn Summer Concert Series

Main St, Auburn | Wednesdays | music @ 7pm

Stroll the Auburn Riverwalk to Festival Plaza on Wednesdays this Summer to catch the Auburn Community Band’s Summer Concert Series. June 28 through August 23.
